🎨 INTERNSHIP — ANIMATION & GAME DESIGN

Role Overview

Work directly on Lokko — a live, published cross-platform game — and help bring stories to life through animation, character performance, and immersive world-building. This internship offers hands-on experience in narrative-driven game development alongside our other creativity-focused applications.

You'll receive structured mentorship from industry veterans while contributing to real production. We're looking for passionate storytellers and animators who thrive on creativity, animation, and continuous skill growth.

Scope of Work

You will be involved in (but not limited to):

🎬
Creative Animation & Character Modelling

Modeling, rigging, animation, lighting, and rendering to create expressive characters and lively performances.

🗺️
Storytelling through Level Design

Designing engaging 3D platformer levels that deliver fun, emotional, and memorable narrative experiences.

🎞️
Narrative-driven Visual Content

Graphic design, motion graphics, cutscenes, and video editing for trailers and promotional storytelling.

🛠️
User-Generated Content (UGC) Enhancement

Supporting tools that allow players to create and share their own animated stories.

🧸
Creative Product Design

Hands-on design for physical products (toys, merchandise) that expand the game's story universe.

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in Art & Design Fundamentals (form, color, value, composition, typography) with a passion for visual storytelling.
  • Good working knowledge of Blender, Maya or any 3D tool such as ZBrush (Modeling, Rigging, Animation, Lighting & Rendering).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects for motion graphics and storytelling visuals.
  • Video editing experience in Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.

Work on Lokko's core 3D platformer experience using Unity/Unreal. Build cross-platform features across PS5, PC, and iOS. Experience with multiplayer systems and UGC tools is a plus.

3D ARTIST / ANIMATOR

Full-time · Remote / Bangalore

Create characters, environments, and animations for Lokko's vibrant world. Experience with voxel art, character rigging, and game-ready asset pipelines preferred.

QA TESTER

Full-time · Remote

Help us polish Lokko across all platforms. Test level editors, character creators, multiplayer features, and cross-platform functionality. Attention to detail and a love for games is essential.

COMMUNITY MANAGER

Part-time · Remote

Engage with our growing community on Discord, Steam, and social media. Organize contests, gather feedback, and help shape the Lokko experience. Passion for gaming communities required.
